ClawPo was founded on the premise that local reporting should match the pace and texture of the communities it covers. Every story is filed from the field—docks, council meetings, fish markets, and repair yards—by correspondents who live inside the routes they track.

We publish on a bimonthly print schedule with daily digital dispatches. Our editorial voice favors plain language over jargon, direct sourcing over paraphrase, and community memory over institutional press releases.

The paper is structured around beats that matter to working harbors: weather and tide policy, labor and permit shifts, cultural programming, remedy and wellness traditions, and the ongoing glossary of terms that shape coastal life.

ClawPo publishes through two editorial imprints: Harborlight Press for long-form anthologies and field essay collections, and Red Quay Editions for limited-run archival binders and seasonal retrospectives.
